+22 Theophilio Spring 2026 Ready-to-Wear
Theophilio returned to the runway with a sultry Spring 2026 collection that underscored Edvin Thompson’s flair for sex appeal and inclusivity. Fresh off the honour of having his sequined green trousers featured in the Met’s Superfine: Tailoring Black Style exhibition, the Jamaican designer leaned into confidence and ease.
This season’s lineup was skimpy yet spirited — sequined mini dresses, barely-there bikinis, and slinky briefs — designed for bodies of every shape and identity. Highlights included a sequined polo-shirt dress, floral-appliqué separates, and a finale frock pieced together from ruffled, rainbow-hued strips.
While not as expansive as his February lookbook collection, Thompson’s message was clear: sexy is about self-assurance. “It’s about knowing who I am and being comfortable with who I am,” he said post-show.
Amid a difficult year for independents, the designer is seeking balance between consistency and evolution. With his heart and energy intact, Thompson’s next challenge will be sustaining momentum while keeping Theophilio’s bold spirit alive.
