+19 Greta Constantine Spring 2026 Ready-to-Wear
Kirk Pickersgill of Greta Constantine turned to his Jamaican roots for Spring 2026, blending cultural pride with his signature red-carpet drama. Though raised in Canada, the designer recalled trips back to Jamaica, where music, bold colour, and family shaped his perspective.
That influence showed up in gowns riffing on the Jamaican flag’s black, green, and gold — like a strapless mikado gown in vivid green and a sleek black embroidered dress. Beachside memories also informed the collection, from a shimmery shell-inspired cocktail frock to a coral ruffle gown evoking snorkelling adventures.
While known for maximalist glamour, Pickersgill experimented with restraint this season. A mossy green embroidered suit paid tribute to Bob Marley’s effortless cool, while his most direct homage came in a red leather top stamped “Jamaica,” a nod to the country’s iconic 1970s tourism poster.
Fresh off an Emmys red carpet moment — his gowns were worn by Kathy Bates and Malin Akerman — Pickersgill’s latest outing felt both celebratory and personal, a love letter to Jamaica that balanced nostalgia with innovation.
