+2Gap deepens its commitment to cultural storytelling and inclusive design with its latest collaboration alongside Harlem’s Fashion Row, unveiling a 20-piece denim capsule that reaffirms the fabric’s enduring relevance.
Launching Friday, the collection spotlights five designers of colour — Daveed Baptiste (Haiti), LaTouché (Haiti), Igdaliah Pickering (Virgin Islands), Waina Chancy (Haiti) and Nicole Benefield — each reworking Gap’s denim legacy through a distinct, globally informed lens. The offering spans elevated essentials and statement pieces, from outerwear to jumpsuits, all rooted in personal narrative and craft.
Shot by Joshua Kissi, the campaign positions denim as a vehicle for cultural expression, underscoring the individuality behind each capsule. Design influences range from Caribbean seascapes and fluid embroidery to architectural pleating, floral embellishment and utilitarian tailoring.
Retailing between $98 and $148, the collection reflects the ongoing six-year partnership between Gap and Harlem’s Fashion Row — an alliance focused on amplifying Black and Brown designers while expanding their global reach. Available online and in select stores, the launch will also roll out across key international markets, signalling both commercial ambition and cultural impact.
